1. About LawnHalloween
LawnHalloween is a Wise Crescent Inc. project. These terms apply to this website, its animated characters, camera studio, QR codes, and printable lawn signs. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
LawnHalloween provides playful animated screen overlays that can be combined with a phone’s camera view to create a video. The characters stay on screen; they do not track physical objects or locations.
2. Your recordings and permissions
You are responsible for the videos you create and share, including getting any necessary permission from the people shown or heard in them. Respect people’s privacy and do not record private property or private activities without appropriate permission.
You retain any rights you have in your own footage. LawnHalloween does not claim ownership of that footage or require you to upload it. Our character artwork remains subject to the limited permission below. Children should use camera and sharing features with a parent or guardian.
3. Characters, artwork, and lawn signs
You may use the site to make and share videos and to download and print lawn signs for personal, household, school, or community Halloween activities. You may share the resulting videos on your social accounts and display the printed signs for these activities.
This permission is non-exclusive and does not transfer ownership of the website, original artwork, animations, or signs. Please keep the LawnHalloween credit on printed signs. Do not sell or redistribute our standalone artwork, animation files, or sign designs as your own products, or imply that Wise Crescent Inc. endorses you or your activity. Contact us for permission for other uses.
4. Camera, microphone, and privacy
The camera starts only when you choose Enable camera and grant access. Microphone access is optional and off by default. Camera images, audio, and recordings are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded to LawnHalloween.
The hosting service may process ordinary request logs to deliver the website. This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. Downloading or sharing a video may involve your browser, your device’s storage, or another app that you choose. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Closing the camera studio or leaving the page stops camera access. Save your video before leaving or recording another clip. See the privacy and camera information for more details.
5. Keep the fun friendly
Do not use the service for harassment, deception, exploitation, unlawful content, or infringement of another person’s rights. Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or distribute harmful code through it.
Use your phone from a safe, stationary position. Place signs only where you have permission and where they do not obstruct walkways, traffic, or visibility. Follow the rules that apply to your location. Protect printed signs from weather and keep the QR code readable.
6. Availability and saving videos
Camera access, recording, and sharing depend on your device, browser, permissions, and available storage. The recorder selects MP4 where supported and otherwise WebM. File sharing and saving to a photo library are controlled by your device and are not available in every browser.
Recordings are limited to 30 seconds. Keep the recording tab in the foreground. We do not keep backup copies of your clips, so check and save your video before closing the page. We may update, suspend, or discontinue site features, characters, or downloads.
7. Service limitations
The site and its downloads are provided as available. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wise Crescent Inc. does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or that a recording will be successfully saved.
You are responsible for checking your saved files and for how you use or share them. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Wise Crescent Inc. is not responsible for lost recordings, failed downloads, or consequences of unauthorized recording or sharing. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies, or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Other websites and apps
Links to other websites and choices in your phone’s share sheet are provided for convenience. Those services are operated independently. Review their terms and privacy information before using them.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest revision. Updated terms apply to your use after they are posted, subject to applicable law.
